Senior, Network Engineer (PFSense Experience)

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer with prior PFSense work experience. This individual will assist with designing, configuring and supporting complex networks for small offices within the United States on an as needed basis at first. Full-time employment will be offered based on performance.

Skill-sets of interest
- Proficient with the setup and configuration of PFSense Firewalls
- Proficient with configuring common network attached devices like Switches, Wireless Access Points, Wireless Controllers, Printers, Copiers, VOIP Phones, etc. (different brand names)
- Excellent phone and people skills
- Flexible work schedule to occasionally make calls during during business hours (GMT -6)
- Available for on-call and/or significant customer impacting support events
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to solve complex problems independently

- Reliable high speed internet that supports video conferencing and VOIP
- Noise canceling phone headset
- Quiet professional work environment
- Computer with Windows 10 operating system and 4MB or more of RAM
