JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Video Editor for a team of marketing professionals working for an I.T Service and Support company in the United States. This position is critical to easing the workload of the marketing team and helping our video marketing efforts be more successful. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work with other team members as appropriate.

As the video editor, you will work with several individuals on the team to manage video projects and ensure that our video marketing efforts are superior in the marketplace. Tasks may include video creation, video clipping, audio editing, video effects, video animation, video organization, story-boarding, captioning, and some graphic design (ie. video title slides, etc.)

Expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Experience with Adobe Audition and Adobe AfterEffects is preferable. Need to be able to write and communicate fluently in United States English. We use several other online video products, but Premiere is our primary tool.

We are looking for someone to work Full-time, 40 hours a week during United States Central Standard Time. UTC/GMT -6. Hours will be from 8 am to 5 pm CST. Must be trustworthy and loyal with their time and not be working another full-time job. Our experience is that when this job is in addition to another full-time job, performance and work quality suffers.

Must speak and write in fluent U.S. English.

Must be organized and an excellent communicator. Must have good project management experience.

Must have good high-speed Internet capable of supporting video conference such as Webex and video programs such as Premiere.

Would be great if the individual had an iPhone, so we could communicate via iMessage for quick messages.
