Quantity Surveyor (Part-Time - Morning Shift | NZ)

Part-time 20 hours per week
Php 20,000 to 25,000 take-home pay monthly
Within 4:00 am – 10:00 am PHT Work Schedule, Monday to Friday

About the Client:

Our client based in New Zealand is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality interior doors and decorative products and is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Quantity Surveyor.

Responsibilities:

Download and interpret architectural drawings in particular door schedules, wall details, floor plans, door jamb details & relevant specifications
Relay interpretation into the required Excel schedule
Note discrepancies between architectural drawings/specifications
Ensure the accuracy of the details to be inputted as that will be the basis for the pricing entered on the tenders
Keep an up to date record of when tenders are due to make sure timelines are achieved
Responds in a timely manner in relation to fulfilling and completing tasks in relation to tender due dates

Requirements:

Has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction/Civil Engineering or any related field
With 3-5 years of relevant or related experience in quantity surveying and/or estimation
Has a strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and reports
Has strong Architectural design estimating and analysis skills
Possesses in-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Has a clear understanding of the intricacies of Microsoft Excel and managing PDF - Acrobat
Honest and trustworthy with regard for integrity
Clear and efficient communicator
Fluent in spoken and written English
Efficient time manager and multi-tasker
Consistent in documenting detail regardless of workflow
Detail-oriented
Thinks big and outside the box with consideration to the company’s perspective
Quick learner
Has a sense of humor
Highly organized and pays careful attention to detail
Independent, self-sufficient, and highly resourceful
Values integrity and reliability
Has a good initiative to keep the client abreast at all times
