Sales and Marketing Manager

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a candidate who can develop sales strategies and attract new customers. The successful candidates will source new sales opportunities, close sales and generate positive reviews. The successful candidate must get to know all the products to properly find solutions to customer issues and to get better reviews; accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; and managing staff.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5-8 years in the same field.

PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
o A four-year degree is essential in the field.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self motivated and driven
Good problem-solving abilities
Team management skills
