Data Entry Specialist

A leading nutrition software company with customers in over 100 countries is hiring a full-time person for Data Entry/Data Coding. This person will be responsible for data entry and QA for our food database.

1. We capture nutrition information for foods from around the world as part of our nutrition application.
2. The nutrient data (like calories, fat, sugar, etc) is then added and updated using our internal data entry tool.
3. Training will be provided on how to use internal data entry nutrition tool.


SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Be detail oriented and careful with the food data. Our data is used by health and food service professionals, so this is very very important to us.
• Previous high accuracy Data Entry experience a must.
• Have passion and good work ethic for data entry type work.
• Be able to use Excel files to find issues in reports and fix them as needed by sorting and filtering as needed.
• Make reports to give to manager on Word.
• Use outlook, email and CRM to manage daily tasks.
• Be able to work alone, be motivated and finish tasks on time.
• Be able to manage time to make sure data is added and updated on time.
• Reliable and a good time player with good work attitude.
• Able to multitask and highly organized.
• Perfect or near perfect English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Fast worker, able to adapt to changing questions during the day.

This work requires you to work from your home during USA hours.

Hardware Requirements:

A Headset with noise cancelling feature is a must, a quiet place for work
At least 10 mbps and wired connection for main isp
Access to consistent internet, including ideally backup generators if power is down.
We use VOIP phone system which requires a reliable internet connection.
