JOB OVERVIEW

We are a professional virtual bookkeeping service headquartered in New York City. We have many remote team members from around the world including from Philippines working in our EST time zone since 2012.

We need organized and detail oriented, bookkeepers with at least 2 years experience with Quickbooks Online (Certification a plus), to helps us service our clients with their Quickbooks Online needs. We have many core clients with daily bookkeeping needs and a rolling list of clients with weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping.

Requirements:
1) Fluent in English communication and able to follow written instructions, screenshots and videos.
2) Excellent problem-solving skills.
3) Strong Experience using QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. Should be able to independently identify discrepancies and inaccuracy in the books. If necessary we will help with the solutions.
4) Friendly attitude.
5) In addition to Quickbooks Online, familiarity with the following applications/platforms:
Google Drive, Google Chat, Google Apps, Asana, Hubstaff, SugarSync, AnyDesk, LastPass, Zoom, Skype and other regular tools for remote freelancers. We will train live or pre-corded videos.
6) Certification in Quickbooks or Bachelors in Accounting a Plus+

Expertise and capability to use Quickbooks apps like, SaasAnt, Transaction Pro. QODBC, Qvinci. Any Quickbooks Certifications or recent CPA is a plus.

1) Clean up Quickbooks.
2) Catch up Accounting and Backlog Accounting.
3) Regular Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly accounting.
4) Accrual Accounting.
5) Inventory Accounting & Payment (Amazon, Shopify, eCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, Square)
6) Monthly Closing.
7) Payroll (Quickbooks Payroll and outside providers like, ADP, Gusto, Trinet. Justworks and others.) Gross up Payroll entries.
8) Customizing reports using Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

You will start with part time (20 hours/week) initially and once your performance is good and established; you will be transitioned to full time.
When you are not working on accounting/bookkeeping support work, you will be required to work on non-bookkeeping accounts as a general virtual assistant.
We use Hubstaff for time tracking. Screenshots and pictures are taken by the app at regular intervals!
