JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a VA to assist in our Accounting and Business Management function based in London, UK. The role will be a mixture of Admin and Accountancy work, so the ideal candidate would be someone who has strong experience in an Accounting role as well as experience as a Virtual Assistant.
This is an exciting role for a business minded candidate with a good all-round skill set who enjoys dealing with clients and management of their Upgrade to see actual infondidate must have good communications skills and be able to efficiently run a well-established work system.

We are looking to hire to someone on a full time basis and in the long term, potential candidates will be expected to:
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accountancy / finance role
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Advanced Excel
• Proficient in the use of Xero Accounting Software
• Strong analytical skills and be highly attentive to detail
• Strong time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to research technical and business matters and think around an issue
• Must have a personal computer and headset
• Must have a reliable and strong internet connection and a backup option in case of outage. Must be able to host Skype meetings
• Excellent English verbal and writing skills
• Good attention to detail
• Able to solve problems independently
• Available to work on a full time basis 16:00 to 00:00 Manila Time (40 hours a week)
• Not in employment elsewhere

The role will be:

• Perform daily Bank Reconciliations for all Accounts using Xero Accounting software
• Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/ aging total/cash receipts/ invoice adjustments
• Process new employee registration including monthly payroll
• Prepare Employment contracts for new Employees
• Deal with Payroll enquiries
• Communicate with clients and other employees on a wide range of issues involving their finance
• Perform Virtual Assistant and other ad-hoc duties required by Manager
