Wordpress & WooCommerce Developer Required

We are Interco, a social media agency and we are looking to employ a talented Wordpress & WooCommerce expert.

You should be able to set up and maintain multiple Wordpress websites of various difficulties ranging from simple landing pages to multi-page sites.

You are familiar with the best existing plugins and able to implement custom functionality when needed.

This position is Full Time, 40hr/pw with long term outlook for the right person. 

REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent knowledge of front end and back end development
• Experience with Wordpress & WooCommerce
• Knowledge of the woocommerce order flow, payment process and available webhooks
• Knowledge how to implement and properly configure well-known plugins and their compatibility with each other
• Experience in building custom plugins with extra functionality for woocommerce
• Understanding how to locate & solve bugs within wordpress
• Strong PHP, SQL, JavaScript and JQuery coding skills
• Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Excellent knowledge of W3C standards
• Experience in mobile responsive coding
• Ability to work with and create API connections with third party applications and services
• Experience with or ability to learn to work in Github, Postman, SOAP UI and Screaming Frog
• Ability to run pagespeed tests and understand waterfall outputs from Upgrade to see actual info, GTmetrix, etc.
• Ability to use the pagespeed analysis and take corrective measures both on page and on the server side to enhance pagespeed performance
• Good knowledge of Schema markup (JSON-LD)
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments
• Good understanding how to use .htaccess
• Knowledge of Google tag manager and how to create custom html tags and triggers
• Manage backups and have clear understanding of safe update procedures in order not to have downtime on live sites
• Knowledge of building up a page with a pagebuilder (Elementor) is preferred (can easily be learned)
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• You should be available daily for a personal chat on a time that suits us both
• You should have good time management skills and be able to achieve reasonable output with our business goals in mind
• The ability to learn new technology rapidly
• You will need to have a desirable portfolio to apply
• Good English skills speaking and writing
  
ABOUT COMPENSATION: 
• The basic salary is negotiable and depends on your experience
• Payment schedule is negotiable
• We pay 13th Month
• We pay bonuses for great work and results

We give you 1 personal day which you can use as sick days or vacation days for every month you work for us (12 days per year),
