SEO Content Writer

We are a Sydney-based search agency looking to hire a creative and motivated full-time content writer.

We work with a diverse range of clients in Australia, ranging from commercial cleaning companies, removalist companies, optometrist clinics, electricians, hotels and more.

Role title: Content Writer
Employment: Full-time
Weekly hours: 40 hours per week (160 hours per month)

The successful candidate will start immediately.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing compelling web content (blog posts, articles and press releases) to increase engagement with and understanding of our client's services
- Applying best practices for SEO within your content (internal linking, external linking, content structure, keyword inclusion etc)
- Work within Google Sheets to keep up with our agency's content calendar
- Write across various industries including local trades and professional services

The ideal candidate must have:

- 2+ years of professional content writing experience (writing for businesses)
- Proficient in speaking and writing English
- Experience with web-based communications, SEO; and basic knowledge of HTML
- Willingness to work independently and creatively
- Ability to communicate via Slack & emails during all business hours
