Podcast editor, long-term employee

I am looking for a creative podcast editor who produces good-quality podcasts. You need to speak and understand English well, but your English doesn't have to be perfect. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING about this job is that you must be willing to maintain regular communication with me. If you have questions, you have to be willing to let me know so we can work through any issues and provide training or answer questions. Disappearing is unacceptable and would be grounds for immediate termination.

The person we hire will work on multiple podcasts.

The most important part of your job will be to send me a daily update email on the status of the podcasts we are working on that day.

Technical Job duties:
Edit podcast files which have been recorded in Audacity. Remove plosives, filler words, mouth breathing, etc. Split audio track to insert commercials in the middle. Work with podcaster for revisions. Render podcast as MP3 file, add ID3 tags, and upload to LibSyn. Build show notes and upload show notes to Libsyn as well. Make an audiogram for each podcast episode.

The person in this job will also edit non-podcast audio MP3s (teaching series, keynote speeches, etc). The audio process would be the same for either type of audio work.
