JOB OVERVIEW


We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Social Media Community Manager VA who can create and post content for our company’s social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with ---------- sired Applicant Skills and Qualifications:

Must have experience in social media marketing
Must have skills in content writing, campaign execution, idea presentation, posting of SM content.
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

Possess strong technical understanding of programmatic/audience buying.

Job Duties:

Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media platforms
Have at least 12 months experience of social media management and delivery
Have experience using social media management tools
Excellent organisational, project and time-management skills
Familiar with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Sheets
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Spark, Crello etc.)
A strong understanding of the various audience types and social media best practices to optimize engagement and traffic
Experience with a marketing automation platform
Ability to produce high quality, eye-catching, engaging social media content
Experience with social media management platforms & tools (Hootsuite, IFTTT, Buffer, etc)
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Openness to feedback and collaboration from throughout our organizationsExperience with Facebook; ability to generate a steady stream of content, manage correspondence, respond to comments, and engage with influencers
Manages company social media channels, including Facebook Group, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content (canva experience or similar software would help)
Uses Scheduling tools, and planning to ensure that we hit our targets.
Understands the use of hashtags, and how to find them
Engages with followers, reaches out to influencers and other critical tactics to grow the business.
Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
Posting blog posts from website onto social media platforms.
Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
Manages social media communications - chat on all social media platforms
Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (ability to write Facebook and Twitter posts without grammatical or spelling errors)
*this is one of the most important things: since the job requires talking over chat AND over a video call, you MUST be able to speak AND write like a native speaker ( grammar, natural / native english proficiency)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Manage leads in CRM or Trello Board (training provided)
- Must be able to create a Social Media Strategy
- Must have experience in Social Media and Content Management

- Must have strong work ethics and works with minimal supervision
- Must have excellent English proficiency
- Able to work 9-5 CST - US office hours

MUST HAVE:
Completely home-based work set-up (laptop with skype/zoom video calling capabilities)
Windows desktop or laptop with at least Windows 7 operating system installed or a Mac laptop or desktop with at least OS 10.8 installed
Headset with clearly audible/working microphone
WebCam on laptop for video conferencing

Base Salary (to be disclosed during the interview/negotiable)
Budget is 400-500 USD per month with potential for bonuses

Start date: ASAP
Employment type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST (Houston)
Reporting to: Owner

The ideal candidate will:

Write engaging content that is relevant to our audience, in our voice, and gets people talking / engaging
Plan, create and publish compelling content on social media channels (static, video, live streams, etc.) daily to support and engage our communities
Engage our communities across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, including listening to and participating in conversations and sharing meaningful information with them
Create social graphics to support our content strategy with Canva and work with our designer to create graphics for our ads campaign
Collaborate with the content and copy team to promote key events, including contests, our events, monthly initiatives, affiliate offers and more
Be a naturally gifted communicator who enjoys building relationships and turning followers into loyal fans
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Have superior storytelling skills and ability to understand the needs of our community

Compensation Plan:

Paid bi-weekly
Performance bonuses for great work
13th-month bonus for overall achievements
Pay raises awarded based on performance
For every month you work, you will receive one paid day for sick/vacation leave (12 days per year) after 3 months of probationary period
