JOB OVERVIEW

We have a variety of projects ongoing for the next several years. They are mostly in the C#/Typescript/PostGres & MS-SQL server area, working with CMMS/EAS and Accounting and some related. We develop and SaaS offline mobile applications and wordpress websites.

We maintain our own servers and we help customers set their servers up and maintain their servers.

We are developing Offline web, online web and app's.

We have several developers in countries around the world working on our team since 2003.

The current position we are hiring for will be:
50% Customer support in English, this needs to be done most days, Monday night through Friday night your choice of 10:00pm to 2:00am Philippine time or 11pm to 3am. (Occasional exceptions can be accommodated.)
50% Server management and new development. This can be done during hours that are convenient to you.

The new development you will be working on will initially be using PeachPie (or some alternative) to compile very slow wordpress sites into Upgrade to see actual info sites.

We are seeking additional devops who have an interest in problem solving. creativity to create new solutions, ability to work independently on problems and the ability to quickly learn new tech by reading documentation and/or source code. Ability to be both creative and very good at following any details in instructions will be crucial.

Almost all of our developers who 'survive' the first 6 months end up working with us 'forever', and 90% that make it through the first 60 days make it to that 6 month period.

We need people who can clearly accept instructions in English, who can write DEVELOPER quality (not customer quality - customer quality is a higher standard) documentation in English, and are able to know the difference between doing a 'quick hack' to get a customer running quickly, and a 'high quality product' when we are not doing a panic Upgrade to see actual infobugging skills important - being able to get a customer report then work through to figure out the cause - and then fix.

You will need to be able to 'learn' on the job. We use a lot of technologies, depending on your aptitude, you will work with some of them. We do NOT expect you to have experience with even most of the technologies, but we do expect you to be able to do a bing search to learn.

We need people who can think beyond - coming up with solutions, comes up with edge case tests, knows how to debug.

We work really well with both types of people but for the current positions we are trying to fill - we definitely need people who can solve problems and test without being told every step.
