Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

We are an Australian flooring company that require remote support

Job description/Tasks

• The ability to read construction drawings and complete accurate take-offs
• Experience in Estimating software (We use Cubit)
• Follow our process of reply to tender / quoting
• Preparation, distribution and co-ordination of supplier and subcontractor tender enquiries
• Accurate analysis of supplier and subcontractor quotes for incorporation into tender prices
• Interpret drawings, specifications, bill of quantities
• Ensure timely submission and follow up of tenders.
• Prepare quote to clients
• Clients Follow up & liaison
• Deliver excellent customer service;


Attributes /Skills

• Excellent command of the English language (Oral & written)
• Qualified Civil engineer with minimum 3-5 years’ experience
• Ability to manage and complete tasks at hand within an agreed or reasonable time schedule;
• Display high level of interpersonal and verbal Communication skills;
• Product knowledge;
• Computer skills (MS Office, email, etc.);
• Ability to work with Cubit software – an advantage
• Experience in the construction /flooring industry

- The succesful candidate will be required to fly in (Melbourne, Australia) for induction process. All expenses paid
