JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Performance Advertising Agency in Newport Beach, CA. We work in a 24/7, always-on environment and work with advertisers from all around the world. Our small (but rockstar) team, handles budgets that exceed millions of dollars per month. We have a growing team in the Philippines and are looking to hire more as our company expands.

We are looking for a talented and motivated "Product Sourcing Assistant" to join our Performance Advertising Agency. We need a real doer, team player, jokester, and colorful personality to help our company grow. If you get Sh*t done, take the bull by the horns, like to have fun, can help organize “scatterbrain” execs that have track records of success — we’d love to meet you!

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Identify and source new products in concert with brand requirements, customer needs and business model
- Conduct Market Research and perform Competitive Analysis to identify product opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and communicate a product strategy that aligns market, financial and product opportunities.
- Source and negotiate product needs with manufacturing, production, marketing, corporate planning teams.
- Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate.
- Present product ideas, plans, and strategies in meetings.


THE QUALIFIERS

- 1-2 years of product development and/or market research experience for consumer products.
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines; demonstrates logical analysis and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and functional teams
- Able to deliver strong and thorough presentations to all levels of management, clearly identifying business issues and recommending resolutions
- Demonstrates good listening, written and oral communication skills; effectively and clearly communicates
- Possess a clear understanding of financial measurements and how to impact them.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge with Microsoft Excel and basic Microsoft desktop applications

ALWAYS GREAT IF YOU HAVE THIS TOO
- Bachelor's degree or experience in a business-related field preferred
- Experience working directly with creative and marketing teams
