SEO - Link Building and VA

The Peterman Design Firm works with visionaries to launch ideas into businesses and products that innovate our world towards better living. Our founder has worked as a designer and engineer for over 15 years and enjoys developing products into sustainable conscious businesses with exceptional design and business launch consulting.

We are looking to bring someone onboard to manage all our SEO strategies, link building, data and related tasks. We have a content writer as well as a graphic designer. We are looking for someone to do the technical SEO and link building strategies. We want to bring our SEO and content marketing in-house for both clients and our own brand. Our clients projects are across many industries with everything from services to products, medical to industrial equipment, baby products to municipalities. This job will be exciting and keep you on your toes. We expect excellent communication, attention to detail and understanding of SEO practices and content marketing strategies. We understand SEO needs a holistic approach and content marketing is a major need for SEO. We are looking to hire full-time and make huge strides in our own SEO strength and ranking as quickly as possible.

I am looking for someone who is fully trained and able to jump into this role with no training. I cannot train you on how to do SEO. However, we will support you with the graphics and copy you need to make it Upgrade to see actual info is a plus if you have graphic design capabilities and can create graphics based on our brand and templates made already for us. There will be minimal company specific items you'll need to learn, such as our project management software. You must know what you are doing and be able to create the strategies and content for amazing SEO results. I am the project manager and will always be a resource to bounce ideas off of, however you are expected to create content with minimal oversight. The ideal situation is to have someone who can grow with the business and eventually lead a team of SEO specialists and content creators as we expand. In addition to the SEO work, some other minor data entry and management to help support marketing will be expected, we are a small and agile team and no one is locked into a single role. We are also working on launching a podcast and it is likely those tasks will be spread between everyone here, including you to make sure our content is good for SEO and building links. This can include social media and following up with guests with copy and links for them to share their episode.

Required Experience:
Bachelors degree
4 years SEO (on and off page)
4 years content experience (social, blogging, etc.)
Familiar with wordpress platform
Communication with myself and our internal team must be clear
Speak, write, read, and understand English to the level of technical terminology, not just conversational

Desired but not required:
Bachelors in English or marketing
Wordpress development experience (on SEO side, optimizing)
2 years podcast experience
