The Content Specialist position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of both our and our client's marketing assets and content created to support outlined marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice based on client's tone guidelines
-Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
-Collaborate with account team members on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g.
-Conduct high-quality research and interviews
-Edit and proofread copy as needed
-Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach
-Develop campaign ad copy based on defined ad audiences
-Be passionate about marketing
-Make it your business to learn as much as possible: reading relevant blogs and articles, attending training sessions, talking to experts and taking an interest generally in what is going on around you.
-Be plugged in to new trends and developments across the industry and particularly within the client's sector.
-Understand the different types of available and emerging media, particularly online, including constraints and opportunities presented by each.
-Understand what makes a good piece of marketing
REQUIREMENTS
-Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
-Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
-Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
-Experience with SEO
-Strong research skills
-Creativity
-Collaborative spirit
-Excellent time-management and organizational skills
