Research and Data Entry Specialist for Food and Beverages Database

We are currently seeking an online research and data entry specialist for our food and beverage database.
Starting part-time and moving to full time after 1 month if the project warrants it.

You would be working with instruction and check-ins with myself to research product ingredients, finding existing databases to incorporate into ours as well as distributors and vendors, websites, contact info etc.
You will use a combination of Google Chrome Extensions, assorted research tactics and will be filling out Google Sheets with extracted information.
High proficiency/comfort in spreadsheet data entry and organization is a must. You will have a few general prompts but will be largely self directed in terms of how you achieve goals and organize information.
If things go well you will help me hire your teammates as you move on to more advanced tasks in the business.
Requirements:
1. Teachability, Communication and Honesty: I need to know if I am being clear and how we can improve as a team, this is dependent on written and phone/video calls between us.

2. Fast internet connection (Please provide online speed test screenshot)

3. Ability to work initially on my US East Coast Schedule to facilitate learning. Later on you will be able to work on your own time.

4. Familiarity with the following internet services:
a) Google Chrome Browser and extensions
b) Google Sheets and spreadsheet organization (basic equations and relational references)
c) Google for research

5. English reading comprehension: You will have to hunt the internet for context and company contact information so you must also be able to get creative to find this information if needed.

6. Ability to read carefully and follow direction: This is a test. If you are following closely, respond to the first math question with the title of a movie you like in the subject line. Do still also include your internet speed test download speed in the subject line.

7. Familiarity with the US Beer industry is a plus but not mandatory

Conclusion:
I am patient and a systematic teacher. I will help you learn the process, but you need to have the tools to learn (google/apps, amazon, internet research).
If hired, you will work part time (15-20hours) and get paid for 2 weeks. If after that, we both think the fit is right, you will be hired for full time as the business grows.
