You will be required to communicate effectively in written English.
Part of the job is researching/ writing content. Researching and summarizing what you find is going to be important. Taking what you research and writing new content and/ or summarizations may be a large part of the job. You may be asked to summarize what you research into key points or spreadsheets.
Requires ability and a strong interest in researching competitors, customers, vendors, industries within a city and consolidating that information into spreadsheets or other documents.

Doing research online is a large part of the job. Given a US City can you find dozens of articles on things to do, places to go, etc., that we can then rewrite with our own twist?
Job role will require translating the content you develop into several languages to the best of your ability. This is mostly built into our WordPress platform with WPML, but translations can require double-checking because the auto-translate feature is faulty.

The job does not require phone conversations or video calls. To-do lists and other duties are managed online. When you need clarification on something you just email me, then move onto something else.

About the business: It’s called Unpack LLC. Our motto is “Local Flavor, Local People, Local Experience. Travel like a local.” We mostly sell curated travel itineraries and require significant content development to promote them.

The job will evolve, but we're looking for someone who can be a dedicated part of a team.
I’ll be very selective for this position. If you are currently working on other projects for yourself or others, that’s fine, include any information about that.

An eye for design is helpful. You may need to find images that match the content you collect for us. If you are an aspiring designer, graphic or web, that may come in handy later.
