On-call Web Developer/ Web Development Support

EVAMAX, a leading consulting firm in Canada and USA is seeking a creative WordPress Web Developer. He will be responsible in optimizing the website to meet our company’s requirements. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced professional with strong knowledge of content management platforms and has the ability to translate the business need into client-friendly functions that will broaden our website’s influence in our industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
1. Making sure that WordPress and plug-ins are updated.
2. Improving website speed and loading time.
3. Maintaining website security.
4. Side modifications according to EVAMAX’s specifications.
  
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Deep functional knowledge and hands on experience with WordPress for 3+ years
2. Knowledge in server setup, Cpanel, FTP, php/ MySQL, database configuration and management
3. Expertise and hands on experience with web applications and programming languages
4. Strong grasp of web security principles
5. Experience in SEO, a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Any degree in Computer Science or IT related field
· Proven knowledge of the most current web development programming languages
· Samples/links to website being handled/maintained
