Front End Developer - Node JS/React

We are a Digital Marketing company currently looking for an experienced Node JS/ React Developer to join our Dev Team. This role will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. The primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

This role will report to the Dev Manager daily and will work closely with the Graphic Designers, Content Developers and other members of the Dev Team who will define together clear project deliverables, timeframe and ensure its timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend development with Node/React Template engine
Responsible for building front end Single Page Apps using Node/React
Collaborate with team members to create a seamless user interface
Responsible for implementing front end development best practices
Ensure cross browser compatibility of the application
Unit Testing/Integration Testing

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

2+ years of experience in developing complex (enterprise level) User Interface applications with current frontend technology stack
Experience in creating the UI with HTML5 and responsive design, Bootstrap
Experience in styling the UI with CSS3 and preprocessors like SASS or Less
Deep understanding of Javascript and experience with modern Javascript web frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js
Understanding of Javascript and UI performance fundamentals
Experience with frontend build tools like NPM, gulp, grunt
Experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket

Work Schedule/ Location: Full time Role of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible, but you must be online for at least 3 hours a day between 3pm – 12pm Eastern US.
