I am looking for someone who is a special breed of person. You have the gift of both research and communication talents with a drive to learn new things. You have a passion for details, accuracy, and weaving in an engaging narrative to otherwise boring topics. You will be at the forefront of the writing team responsible for every word put out to the world. You will be working with unique problems to solve each week. This position will be working on core products and customer websites.


REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- A versatile approach to writing.
- The greatest Google research skills ever.
- A keen eye for grammar and details.
- Strong “B.S.” detector.
- Excellent knowledge of American English.
- Can change existing content to make it unique to the project.
- Experience with the daily management of content calendars & social media platforms.
- Familiar with HTML/CSS, PHP, and Javascript.
- Proactive in suggesting improvements in various aspects of the project.
- Understanding that smaller tasks connect into the bigger picture.
- Aiming for excellence in broken down tasks every time.
- No desire to use “filler words” just to meet an arbitrary word count requirement.
- You will work with less supervision & instructions but aim for quality production.
- You have pixel-level attention to detail.


BONUS SKILLS:

- Familiar with managing criticism.
- Good interpersonal skills, time management, and work ethics.
- Experience with CMS development (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla)
- Infusionsoft experience (building campaigns, managing contacts, etc.)
- Make people laugh


WORK ARRANGEMENT:

- Home-based
- Working 7’ish hours/day from Monday to Friday.
- Workday hours are negotiable based on your living situation.
- Must have your own workstation (PC or Mac), stable electricity, and stable high-speed internet (2mbps or better).
- Available backup internet connection
