JOB OVERVIEW

BACKGROUND:

We’re building software for the hospitality industry, and we need a passionate coordinator and editor with strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and has a joyful positive outlook.

We need a person who can take the lead in crafting a great message that will resonate with Upgrade to see actual info involves identifying various challenges each day, based on real world problems facing hotels, travellers and the solutions we can provide.

To really excel in this role, you need to put yourself in the shoes of our customers: Figure out how to win the hearts and minds of subscribers, and determine how hotels can improve services, be more efficient and be the best in their fields.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Take the lead in planning and organizing publications of various content.
2. Craft articles for posting both to our own website and to external websites as guest posts. Actual articles can also be written by other writers in the team.
3. Conduct A/B copywriting experiments on landing pages, email campaigns, etc.
4. Create various drip campaigns and monitor results.
5. Research data of interest to our target audience.
6. Continuously monitor and improve the marketing plan to gain new sign-ups. The main deliverable for this role are new subscribers each month.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Number one skill needed is strong attention to detail.
2. Number two skill needed is a strong sense of responsibility. Somebody who has to be followed-up several times is not a good fit for this role. Somebody who likes to complain instead of taking action is also not a good fit for this role.
3. Must have 3+ years experience in writing online content/blogs.
4. Demonstrated ability to learn new principles and methodologies. Has a initiative and is very trustworthy.
5. Need someone who can take ownership of tasks and is able to commit to regular meetings and deliverables.

This role is for a full-time position working from home. Side projects will have to be discussed first with the immediate manager. This is not an easy role, and you will be challenged and may occasionally work long hours. But you will have a lot of flexibility to grow in areas that you want to pursue.

We need someone who has a passion for high performing teams, excellent customer engagement and beautiful software.
