We're a small but focussed team looking for like-minded people to come on board with us to create interesting, engaging and fun experiences for our Upgrade to see actual infoing tools like slack, trello and bitbucket we're well versed in working remotely.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and fun front-end Shopify developer to help us build and maintain stunning Shopify e-commerce websites. We're looking for a detail-oriented person with a passion for developing great front-end experiences to the highest quality.

The work we do ranges from full theme design and builds, customising existing themes and creating bespoke functionality embedded in the theme as well as seo and page speed optimisation.

- You will be able to take a design in Sketch / Illustrator / Photoshop and build HTML, CSS and JS and liquid.
- A keen problem solver, you will be able to come up with creative solutions to our clients questions and think outside the pixel.
- You will have a solid understanding of Shopify and it's templating language
- You will have experience creating bespoke shopify themes from the ground up as well as working on existing themes
- Be comfortable creating experiences on both mobile and desktop
- You will be passionate about front-end with a focus on performance and standards and the user experience.
- You will have opinions and ideas about front-end and be passionate about sharing those ideas and learning.
- You will care about the smallest of details and making sure everything looks perfect.
- You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well a part of a team
- You'll have a good understanding of common e-commerce design patterns.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Developing e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform for a wide range of industries in a fast pace environment.
- Bringing design to life using HTML/SASS/JavaScript (jQuery).
- Working closely with the operations manager & production team to deliver projects.
- Collaborating and sharing ideas with the rest of the production and operations team.
