JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for an ambitious motivated individual looking to join a fast-growing design company based in Germany that is all about products for kids. The job is about illustrating amazing kid’s coloring books. This ILLUSTRATOR will be a very important addition to the team and must have the following skills:

-Fluent in English
-Great Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign skills
-Great and accurate communication (mostly via slack)
-Organized
-Loves to Learn
-Can follow clear instructions, based on weekly assignments and detailed documentaries (text and video)
-Open to feedback
-Attention to the detail (reply to this job with “Hola Timo”)
-Experiences with kid’s illustrations and/ or coloring templates would be a plus

The designer must be able to do the following:
-Create ORIGINAL, HAND DRAWN coloring book pages for kids of ages 3-6 years
-Create book covers for kids coloring books that matches those coloring pages
-Create 30 coloring pages (equals one coloring book) and a book cover per week based on weekly given topics with examples and clear descriptions
-Use our existing templates for Adobe Illustrator (coloring page template and cover template) and Adobe InDesign (book interior template)

If you mainly work with vectors and have zero illustration experience, please do not apply.

The job pays $50 per coloring book (includes 30 coloring pages, a simple cover page and book cover). We are aiming a workload of one coloring book per week. I am looking for a long-term team member and I am willing to pay bonuses for very good achievements. I am also taking into consideration to expand the employment relationship with the growth of the company in the long term.
