Project Manager - Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Project Manager / Senior Java Developer with a solid background (6+ years) in computer science, full stack web development, and/or related fields. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is preferred, a CIS Degree with a background in management will also be Upgrade to see actual info addition to managing the project, you will be working as a senior level developer alongside your team. You must have strong analytical skills, as well as a good overall understanding of the latest stacks, tools, & best practices of development. You must be able to lead a medium sized team and have experience in managing projects. You will be required to make important technical recommendations & implementing such recommendations.

Other key roles and activities to include experience in the Agile environment, Business Analysis, Documentation, Prototyping and Testing. Must have experience implementing security principles and ability to develop/maintain Restful API web services for the mobile app. You must be extremely competent in Java, MySQL, JavaScript and other related technologies. Be familiar with project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, etc.

Required Skills:
- Minimum 4-6 years in Java programming with experience in application design, software development and maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge in Springboot
- Good knowledge of SQL and database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
- Good knowledge of web standards (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Quick learner and adapter of new frameworks and technologies
- English language fluency and very good communication skills
- Attention to details and some creativity on how processes could be improved as well as business requirements could be met
- Good team player and ability to exchange information and support with coworkers

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of development tools including Maven, Eclipse
- Good knowledge in J2EE Technologies (e.g. Servlets, JTA, JMS)
- Good knowledge in some back-end technologies like Spring, Hibernate, Solr, SQL or others
- Knowledgeable with microservices
- Excitement for the latest trends in application design
