Webmaster

The successful candidate will have:
2+ years of full-time WordPress development experience, or 3+ years of part-time experience.
6+ months experience of using Sass and Grunt or Gulp.
Been solely responsible for or played a large part in developing themes and plugins for live use on specific client sites or for general distribution (commercial or non-commercial).
Wide knowledge of the WordPress codex, handbook and functions, including development of Gutenberg blocks, Taxonomies, Customiser and Page Templates.
Experience building e-commerce sites with WooCommerce.
1+ years of git (or other VCS) usage, demonstrating ability to work in git branches for staging and feature development, merging seamlessly with other developers, plus solving conflicts with changes in other branches.

These would be competitive advantages:
Code accepted into a major WordPress open source Upgrade to see actual infoep knowledge of Javascript and the WordPress REST API.
Experience in working with remote teams.
Experience writing and maintaining unit and acceptance tests for WordPress projects.
Already a member of WordPress groups such as make.wordpress slack channel, AWP, WordPress for Business.
