Finance & Planning Manager – Job Description

Looking for a hard-working analyst who enjoys spreadsheets, financial analysis and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have some background in e-commerce, work independently and be ready to learn. This is a complex role that involves planning for over 200 SKU’s, sold across the USA and Europe on both amazon, ebay, etsy, shopify and wholesaled to stores. Our inventory is air and sea shipped to a variety of locations across 2 continents and have long-lead times.

The right candidate must be able to take responsibility for that entire process of ensuring we do not ever stock-out of key items and that we maximize our inventory turn-over, minimize our shipping costs and run an efficient supply chain. This is not a virtual assistant role, so please only apply if you are comfortable with this level of project management and have some understanding of international logistics and manufacturing.

Supply Chain Duties
Manage all of SoJourner supply chain management from production to sale
Develop / maintain an inventory forecasting model for the USA / Europe based on amazon sales combined with website, wholesale, etsy and others
Monitor amazon inventory levels and ensure regular shipments are sent from our Third Party Warehouse to amazon
Provide weekly re-order analysis based on 7 and 30 day sales/inventory
Create PO’s for manufacturing and manage the re-order process with the supplier
Work with supplier on orders, manage product details / questions, book inspections, complete orders
Handle logistics from China to USA, building relationships with logistics companies, researching quotes for best sea/air pricing, booking shipments, and ensuring all items arrive at their intended destination with no issues
Continue to work to take costs out of production process and supply chain process

Finance
Provide profitability and ROI analysis per SKU on a weekly and monthly basis
Work on improvement to ROI and other financial metrics
Work with PPC team for optimal financial outcome
