Job Title: Freelance WordPress Designer/Developer
Location: Remote Work

DESCRIPTION
Please note that this NOT a permanent position but a freelance work. We will need you to work AS NEEDED. Major responsibility is working with clients from the concept phase and creating and testing the site architecture, creating interfaces and visuals for mobile applications, and resolving website issues for clients in a timely manner. This is an amazing work from home opportunity and you will be making a major impact on our lives by giving us some sanity and space back, while being constantly challenged and learning a lot.

WHAT YOU DO FOR US
- Manage Front-End Development: design and build the front end of WordPress websites, which is what the user sees and interacts with.
- Manage Back-End Development: control on the server-side, making sure client websites are updated and secured
- Generate Plug-Ins and Themes: utilise themes and plug-ins, and works with codes to create them.
Performance Monitoring: spend time monitoring WordPress web applications to make sure they are online, working correctly, and loading quickly, respond to error codes and troubleshoot problems.
- Participate in Team and Client Meetings, if needed: attend team or client meetings, help in bringing in the client’s vision into reality
- Can follow our Web Developer SOP faithfully
- Website design: use his design skills to optimize the user’s experience.
- Programming: have a working knowledge of basic web technologies and the WordPress platform
- Knowledge of industry trends: up to date with how the industry is moving so they can anticipate factors that will impact their work
- Attention to detail: all about the details, knows that attention to detail is critical to providing a high-quality product
- Communication skills: knows that communication is key for programmers.
- Record repetitive tasks for future reference

WORKING CONDITIONS
You must have a designated home office or work station that is located in a room with a door to avoid distractions. You must have a proven and tested strategy to help you survive working from home with children. Have you hit your wit’s end, and you think it’s just difficult to work with your little ones in the house, we recommend hiring a nanny even for a few hours each day to keep them at bay. (P.S. We love children. We really do!)

- Front-end technologies (such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery)
- Back-end technologies (such as PHP)
