E-Commerce Bookkeeper

The position requires at present approximately 25 hours per month in total, with a weekly split estimated below:

Week 1 10.50
Week 2 6.00
Week 3 1.50
Week 4 6.00


This position has the potential to increase in hours as the business develops a brand outside of Amazon over the next 6 months.

About the Company

The Company is a fast-growing e-commerce operation which has been trading (in the gift market) for the past 16 months, selling in both the USA and Canada through Amazon and Etsy platforms.

The next 12 months is an exciting time for the business – and is expected to continue to grow.


Personal Specifications

? At least 2 years bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks experience preferable)
? Amazon experience is desirable
? English – advanced (fluent).
? Motivated, driven and maintains high standard of work
? Positive, can-do attitude
? Excellent attention to detail
? Ability to work independently – however there will be communication with the CEO on a daily basis

Duties

? Weekly Reporting
? Split Testing (every 2 weeks)
o Creating split tests in Cashcow
o Downloading results and inputting into split test spreadsheet for review
? Inventory
o Creation of the re-order sheet every 2 weeks
? Monthly Close:
o Preparation of the monthly analytical report for the CEO
o Maintenance of the Quickbooks module – entering all transactions from the previous month, reconciling
o Creation of journals including Revenue and Cost of Sales
? Adhoc:
o UK VAT return
o Reimbursement calculation from amazon (every 3 months)
