Responsibilities:
- Understand the messaging the client is seeking to deliver and translate this into an attractive copy.
- Consistently deliver original, on-brand copy (and improve on existing copy) in a fast-paced environment.
- Creating promotional text for online ads, banners, brochures, social networks, video scripts, press releases, etc.
- Creating promotional text for online ads, banners, brochures, and social networks.
- Writing and proofreading perfect copy that will engage the reader.
- Understand client briefs to craft copy that is on brand.
- Write and proofread website copy about our company and client’s products and services.
- Produce creative ideas for innovative campaigns.
- Coordinate with designers to complement text with images, graphics, and charts, as needed.

Our desired candidate must:
- Have experience as a copywriter in an in-house retail or agency environment.
- Have exceptional writing skills and technical aptitude.
- Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication skills and a “team player” mentality.
- Have a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field. Equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Be a fearless learner, self-motivated and results-driven.
- Be proficient in some the following tools and technologies:
--- Social Media CRM Tool such as Gain, Later, Hubspot, HootSuite, SproutSocial, etc.
--- CMS – WordPress
--- Google Analytics
--- Communications - Google Suite, Teamwork, Skype
- Have the ability to work fast, independently, meet rapid deadlines and adjust to changing the workload.
