Bella Beauty Institute, is a one of a kind learning experience in the beauty industry. We have been rapidly growing and evolving over the last couple of years. We are looking to 10X our business and are in the current process to do so. We offer full certifications in Microblading and Permanent Cosmetics. For us a great web page is a MUST!
We have our own brand of products that are above all the others in the market of permanent makeup, and cosmetics.
Job Description
As our new Web designer you will create the look, layout, feel, functionality and features of all the websites we are developing. You will work on developing new websites and on enhancing our existing Web properties.
You will work closely with our creative directors, project managers, strategists and other design team members to develop specifications and make adjustments regarding the use of new and emerging Web technologies. The look and the flow of the web site is key to recruiting new students for our training facility.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be using functional user-interface techniques in your Web design workflow. You will also be responsible for writing clean, semantic front-end code - HTML5, CSS3, JAVA, PHP. We at an expert level in siteground, and wordpress.
More responsibilities in detail:
Be able to produce fast results!
Convert raw images, non copyrighted stock photos, and layouts to the webpage
Determine appropriate architecture, and design flow of a modern user friendly webpage.
Link all emails, social media accounts, and functions to the webpage in user friendly format.
Provide thought-leadership on Web design best practices and next-generation digital trends.
Be experienced and proficient with click funnels, backlinks, and SEO.
Assist in the development of a new brand and how to convey it cohesively across our multiple Web properties.
Daily updates and progress with the development process.
Be able to do video editing, and make video content with existing videos and photos, and make them convert well to all user interfaces.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
Three years minimum experience with/in web design.
A strong visual and technical portfolio.
A high level of proficiency using Adobe products (or equivalent tools).
Knowledge of browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devices.
Strong ability to design with accessibility in mind.
Experience work ethic.
Familiarity with multiple HTML frameworks, siteground, word press, strong JavaScript & jQuery skills (such as consuming APIs)
Portfolio of past work is required.
A portfolio may be required
Strong written and spoken English skills.
