Experienced Tech and Business Savvy QA Functional Tester

I am urgently looking for a tech and business savvy QA functional tester with a minimum of 5 years applicable experience. to work with project teams to ensure overall software quality is monitored and maintained and/or validates system QA standards necessary to execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications/systems.

You will interact with business execs in determining whether features, system software, tools, and applications are appropriate and/or ready for implementation. You will support quality control and the development of new or revised applications. You may provide guidance in the creation of tests plans, and test scripts. You will analyse, designs, documents new or modified QA procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications and information systems. Provide resolution to an assortment of problems complex in scope, related to Quality Assurance projects.

Experience working with Development, Testing, Production Support, and Change Management partners.

Job Responsibilities:
Help Team in resolving impedance
Assist (or lead assisting) production support in creating scenarios to diagnose problems and assists in testing resolutions
Accountable for the quality of all deliverables sent to Business/UAT
Responsible to define and track the Entry/Exit criteria for all the phases of the project
Should confirm that the system is operating correctly and can handle the required data volumes
Responsible to Track and Publish Metrics to all stakeholders
Ensure KPIs are met as per the defined standards
Address any action required to eliminate the Knowledge gap through training
Set guidelines for the test scripts
Responsible for creating and executing test scripts and transfer knowledge to the offshore team to avoid any knowledge gaps
Coordinate prioritization of test scripts and defects

Required Skills:
Techno Functional Test Manager, Ability to lead team working in Distributed Agile.
Understanding of End to End Testing Cycles using Agile, Waterfall methodologies
Experience with Agile delivery model
Experienced-at OR strong understanding of Database/ETL testing along with functional automation
Manage day to day activity of offshore testers, including manual and automated testing
Ensure testing is on schedule and escalate any issues/concerns
Strong leadership skills
Excellent Communication and Time Management skills
Finance Testing Exposure
Demonstrated Analytical, Problem solving and Interpersonal Skills
Hands-on experience in testing (such that can lead the team by example)
Working Experience in using Agile Tool (Rally, JIRA) and Test management tool (QC, ALM, QTEST)
Experience working in ERP Application
