General Job Description
I am looking for more than just a virtual assistant to conduct administrative tasks.
I am seeking a virtual employee/digital content creator to help realize the vision of my company through engaging content, efficient and proactive task prioritization and execution with outstanding communication.
I need an individual who will bring creative energy, engaging content, and cool social graphics, to the company so that I can spend my time focusing on strategic tasks to grow and diversify FanGage Nation our clients such as Kidz Mic
Strong ability to create and execute (publish) a content marketing calendar, in this role you will manage the Content Calendars for FanGage Nation and our clients, and for including Kidz Mic, and for special campaigns that we execute with non-clients
Strong understanding of creating engaging blog posts, emails, social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, that are interesting for use in marketing messages for email and social media campaigns is a must
You will use our team marketing calendar to create emails, blogs, and posts for Kidz Mic and high profile FanGage clients, so once again interest in and understanding of how to create highly engaging content based on the interests and needs of a target consumer is a strong value for this role
I am willing to invest in your personal and professional development with sharing of our training resources and exposure to my business structure to help strengthen your skills an individual and as a VA, our company has access to several online learning portals and can share them with you.

How We Will Communicate
Weekly video meetings or conference call for 1 to 1.5 hours to plan the week
Day to day communication primarily via Slack and email/text/calls as needed
Asana will be used to create and manage all tasks
Daily written report to be provided of work accomplished during open video projects

Basic Requirements
Time Commitment
We will start at 15 hours per week for 10-day testing once hired and then shift to 25 hours per week

Experience
3+ years experience as a social/digital content creator serving high-performing organizations, fast-paced entrepreneurs and/or business owners

Skills and Technical Knowledge

Ability to spur and measure Content Reach

Project management certification is a plus
Highly fluent in using Canva and/or other fast graphic creation platforms
Fluent and ideally certified (if applicable) in all or willing to quickly study and master all technology and communication platforms outlined in sections above
You'll need to be proficient in creative writing, copy/post writing, and creating posts for the purpose of building community and spurring sales
General computer literacy and an aptitude for working with digital equipment to achieve results are important.
A postgraduate qualification isn't essential but please provide a list of relevant courses that you have taken to help provide you with extra skills

Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.

Create digital brand plans for FanGage Nation and clients as needed
Create social posts and digital content based on our conversations
Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content, plan specific, timely marketing campaigns for all platforms – blog, email, FB, Twitter, Instagram, LI, YouTube
Create and use a regular publishing schedule
Download monthly Marketing Plan from Google Drive
Manage Google Drive social media and digital content folders
Create copy and graphics for posts on FB, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest & LinkedIn
Create highly engaging, super fun, social media campaigns for FanGage & clients
Tagging products on Kidz Mic Instagram through Shopify
Share mocked-up posts for approval via CoSchedule or one file in Google Drive
Send task that content needs review/approval
(After approvals) schedule approved posts/content using CoSchedule
Write description for approved YouTube videos and schedule them to premiere (post using premiere function)
Post news articles and updates to LinkedIn Company Pages and Website News sections
Stay current on 'hot' YouTube/IG/FB/Twitter/Pinterest news, changes and trends
Stay aware/up to date on 'hot' black culture/black family news and trends
Edit social/digital content for FanGage music clients based on their project brief – which may call for a more serious tone, adult tone or a music vid vibe instead of Kidz Mic fun videos
Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content (ie: employee training, recognition and rewards for participation in the company’s marketing and online review building).
