About the Role:
This role is for a fast growing startup in the food industry, we are looking for data collection people. The job includes scraping data from the web.

About the Company:
FoodStyles is a new restaurant app which is set to completely change the way you search for food and restaurants in London - We gather information about all of the dishes in all of the restaurants in all of London into one big menu. We then filter that big menu based on your preferences, so that you only see the dishes that are relevant to you.

By using proprietary frameworks developed together with experienced chefs, we are able to categorise all of the dish information and make it available through the FoodStyles app, organised by dish type, cuisine type, course type, ingredients & diets.

Food Styles are set for public launch in London in September 2019, with US and Europe following.

Job Requirements:
Experience with HTML/ JSON / XML / JS
Experience with data scraping
Experience with web scraping
Experience with web scraping tools
Understanding of HTML tagging, selectors and data schemes

Other:
Fast learner
Fluent English speaker
Basic coding skills
Understanding of food and menus - advantage


This position is remote, but you will need to communicate with the team which is based in London.
