FULL TIME LINUX/NETWORK ADMIN (40 HRS/WEEK)

We are an IT-Wholesaler and Dismantler in Germany called “RBIT” and work with over 350 customers worldwide on complex dismantling and recycling Upgrade to see actual info the past 4 years we have grown from a one-man-show to a full-size company with our own production, vehicle fleet and warehouse.

We are getting called whenever other companies are in need of spaces, need their old equipment removed or have the need to get a new space prepared. Also a lot of so called “Second-Hand OEMs” are relying on us to supply them with new and used parts for their shop. Customers all over the world are happy about our “Spirit of can do!” that is proudly made in Germany.

To accomplish more growth on the complex market we are seeking for a Linux/Network Admin who will be responsible with day-to-day operation. Linux system administrator is a computer-savvy professional with a mind for analytical problem resolution.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
-Problem-solving skills – technical issues often arise with the system or servers, and you must resolve these issues as quickly as possible to prevent a halt in production
-Technical aptitude – you work with various equipment in the maintenance of systems. This equipment changes frequently so you must quickly learn how to use it.
-Research skills – research is often necessary to figure out how to resolve complex system issues
-Multitasking skills – you work on multiple projects simultaneously while also troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise, you must be able to juggle multiple priorities effectively
-Interpersonal skills – you work in a team environment and consult with outside vendors, so you must interact with others in a professional and positive manner

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
-You must be efficient enough to manage all internet applications inclusive to DNS, Networking, Apache, MySQL and PHP. Taking frequent backup of data, create new storage procedures and scheduled backup is one of the duties.
-Reviewing of all the error logs and fixing it is another duty along with providing superior customer support for Web-hosting, ISP and LAN Customers on troubleshooting escalated support troubles.
-You are responsible for installing the necessary procedures and security tools and maintaining network and computer system security.
-You will upgrade the software installed on to the server, including upgrading virus softwares and code upgrades.
-Ability to work with Linux-friendly applications and able to troubleshoot it when issue arises from the server.
-Create and optimize complex TCP/IP networks or systems .
-You need to speak English so that communication is always clear.


WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:
- Fixed Monthly Salary, a 13th month salary and Bonuses for special projects
- Our Salary ranks from 300$ till 1000$ but that is very depending from you and your work.
