My name is Tim and I am from Vancouver, Canada. I am part of the non-profit organization that is building a student center for minorities and underprivileged kids to help them with getting a higher education and with the job search. The organization is in a big need to raise funds in order to finish the constructions of the building. I am looking for the right person to join me and who will be able to find the right government grants and to help to apply to them. This can be truly life-changing for many less fortunate kids.
Position: Grant Writer & Researcher to get the funds from public institutions
Type of Employment: Part-Time (with a possibility to the full-time extension)
Trial Period: Before the full employment, there will be a two-week probation period (trial) during which we will figure whether we like each other and if we can work together. I will pay $100 for each week. If by the end of the trial, both parties feel like it is a good fit and match, then full-time employment will be

Responsibilities:
This project is an application for Government Funding and Grants in Vancouver, Canada. We need an individual with an extensive background in Grant writing, specially tailored to public/government grant proposals. The Grant Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and analyzing grant opportunities and making recommendations for feasibility among others.
Requirements:
Excellent English writing communication skills (MUST)
Prior experience in writing for Grant Proposals (ideally in Canada, but not required)
Excellent Research Skills
Strong Analytical Skills
Highly Organized and very Meticulous
