Research and Customer Service Specialist for Yoga and Fitness Company

We are looking for an assistant to help us with several different jobs in a FUN industry. We will need someone to answer customer emails and inquiries, write for our blog and product descriptions, engage users/Upgrade to see actual info on Instagram and Facebook, and a few other routines. This position is a combination of customer service and project based research work. We can train you on all of these tasks.

We were looking to hire someone starting at $3 USD per hour. This position is part time (~20 hours per week) to begin and will transition to full time (~35-40 hours per week) after a 1 month trial period. We have a lot of work for you, but it takes time to get trained and experienced in our business. We will train you!

This position will start as a 1-month contract with an opportunity to continue if it's a good match.

We are an eCommerce company that has been selling on Shopify for over three years. We sell yoga, aerial arts, and physical fitness products. We are a small business but growing fast!

Our customers are passionate about our high-quality products and we are known for our positive and upbeat customer service. We are all completely remote and operate independently. We make sure to check into our Slack channel every day. Getting good work done on time is more important than logging hours. Our team is very small so we work together very closely. Strong communication skills are a must!

The best candidate has:
Fantastic (American) English
Experience with Yoga or Circus Arts
Experience with Shopify
Experience with Instagram
Experience with Google Docs, Excel, and Slack
Experience with Customer Service
Great researcher
Team Player
Self-Motivated
Comfortable speaking on the phone and answering emails
FAST and reliable internet connection (very important!)
