Hello,
I'm looking for a part-time, senior developer for my Laravel based software product (
* Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the software with our other developers
- Take part in the architectural development
- Develop and maintain several API integrations between our software and other 3rd party platforms.
- Keep documentation / Wiki updated
- Identify production and non-production issues and recommend changes
- Implement unit tests for new and legacy code
- Implement integration testing for API's
* Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years as a senior level developer
- 4+ years with Laravel PHP Framework
- 7+ years with modern RESTful API frameworks
- 2+ years as a lead developer
- Implementing unit tests and integration tests
- jQuery/JavaScript/HTML
- Bootstrap Framework
- BeanStalk (or similar)
- AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Codeship/CloudBees (or similar)
- Git / GitHub
* Required Soft Skills:
- Clear and detailed communicator.
- High-level problem-solving. Identify and analyze the problem and come up with a workable solution.
- Adaptability - Openness to critical feedback, improving existing skills and learning new ones.
- Continuous learning - You intentionally seek out ways to learn new development skills and concepts on your own.
- Empathy - Intentional about fully understanding the problem a team or user has from their point of view and works together to find a solution.
- Critical Thinking - This is assessing the facts and details of a certain problem before deciding and executing the best solution. You can mentally test a solution before selecting which is the most efficient.
