Accountant/Bookkeeper - US Company (GAAP)

The Role:
As Bookkeeper/Accountant, you are a vital part within the company to make sure the executive team has accurate financial detail to make critical decisions.

Key Outcomes Within The 1st Year:
Developed system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Given at least 5 suggestions to upper management on how to improve the current systems and processes

Key Activities:
Record day to day financial Upgrade to see actual infoing the books to the trial balance stage.
Perform partial checks of the posting process.
Manage AP/AR, Payroll, PO’s, etc.
Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements.
Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (Accounting majors preferred)
Understands and applies particularly US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for companies in USA) - highly Preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise (Preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, accounting, or operations
Fluent in English: written & speaking (minimal accent)
Adept with Upgrade to see actual info, Google Apps, MS Office, and Social Media
Full time & ability to work United States (PST) hours
Work from home or any virtual location with stable and fast internet
