Experienced developer with strong understanding of database programming and application development

We are looking for an experienced developer with strong understanding of database programming and application development. You will be working with a remote distributed team.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Creating database and back end specifications, requirements and code to implement for a web based system
• Creating high quality code that delivers performance and adheres to specifications
• Creating clean, structured code to ensure the ease of maintenance and future enhancements
• Providing trouble-shooting analysis and resolution in a timely manner
• Keeping management up to date on progress
• Writing smart, fast and bug-free code
Qualifications and Skills
• College or University Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a web developer capacity
• High proficiency with relational (SQL) databases such as MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Significant experience with web services and custom APIs (mainly CRM APIs such as Zoho)
• Experience using version control software (GitHub)
• High proficiency with PHP, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript and Vue.js
• Experience working with application development frameworks (preferably Laravel 5)
• Experience with setup and administration of Amazon EC2 server
• Ability to understand and comprehend technical documents, such as requirements documents or API specifications
