Job summary
Smashlots Liquidation/SL Global Liquidators is looking for an Accountant for a US based wholesale liquidation company. Applicant must have the ability to use Quickbooks Online with the accrual method of accounting. We are a merchandising business, so if you apply be sure that you can handle inventory accounting. This position is part time which will begin with 16 hours per month. As our business grows, we will need up to 40+ hours per month of book keeping work. You will be taking us on as a client, and are flexible to work with other businesses if you would like. You will be required to occasionally work during US business hours to communicate with the owner. Most of the time you will be able to handle the bookkeeping work during separate hours which are more comfortable for you. We are seeking experienced candidates who can can provide confidentiality, clear communication, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Record inventory purchases
Match bank deposits with invoices
Produce profit & loss statements
Accurate balance sheet statements
Cash flow statements
Report to owner/manager
16-20 hours of work per month

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors in Accounting or related fields
Experience in working with merchandiser businesses
Experience with general ledger
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
Previous experience with a US based company
Experience with data entry or record keeping
Proficient in Quickbooks Online
Experience in payroll
Understanding of business income tax worksheets and computations
