We have a very well established digital agency in the United States (over 20 years in business) and we are looking for the following qualities and skills in a website developer:

A website developer who has at least 5-7 years of experience understanding how to create websites in HTML/CSS, WordPress and PHP/PHP framework and web-based applications/softwares with a database.

Mostly our sites are created in Wordpress, but a foundational knowledge of website design is a must.

IMMEDIATE PROJECT NEEDS:

We are looking for a web developer for the following website project:

Build a website in Wordpress using designs that are already created in Photoshop and approved by the client.

All written content for the site is approved and will be supplied in text/word/Google documents.

You must have Photoshop to open the mockups and take all references to use from here.

Mock ups will be provided to you for screens at 1920px X 1080px

All screens should scale and be responsive from 21 inch monitors down to mobile view.
We have repeated many of the sections in the design layouts so it should be easy to replicate on the various pages.

This project requires someone who is good at finding the right solutions to our requirements so that any project can be turned around quickly and correctly.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Fundamental understanding of website development:
CSS
JavaScript
JQuery
PHP and PHP Framework
HTML
Custom Wordpress Plugins Creation
Custom Coding (and how to create pages/websites from scratch without using templates or Wordpress)


Deep understanding of Wordpress such as:
Critical that you know how to set up WP sites in the correct way (no shortcuts which may later compromise the performance of the site)
Creating WP sites from Templates
Customizing Templates
Finding and implementing the right Plug-ins
Customizing Plugins

- Minimum 5-7 years experience using PHP/PHP framework and web-based applications/softwares with database.

- Knows how to manage hosting, domains, subdomains, emails, other applications on the cpanel, maintaining server issues, etc.

- Knows how to work with API to connect or integrate to different softwares or websites

- Ability to come up with the right technical solutions for our requirements.

- Creating and testing website pages as you build them to know that the site will be fully responsive and Upgrade to see actual infoERPERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Have great communication skills. You must be fluent in English (good communication is key)
You must have a good internet connection. Many times we will communicate via ZOOM, so we want to make sure we can hear each other.

- Willing to improve and upgrade skills, and willing to share gained knowledge, tips, tricks and processes that can help the team work effectively and efficiently.

- Able to meet the targets and deadlines, and you are able to work well and efficiently under
pressure.

- Must be available for daily team meetings at 11am EST (United States time) to discuss progress. You must be able to attend these meetings ON TIME. You also need to be willing and able to communicate via Voxer, in a timely manner, regarding projects, status, and ask/answer any questions.

- Knows how to collaborate within the team, being a team player in any team aspect, a support OR a leader. We have a tight-knit team and being able to provide LEADERSHIP and SUPPORT is absolutely necessary.

- Delivers work on time, and you take pride in the quality of your work. You should have the ability to be able to QA your own work and provide with confidence your best work. You are ACCURATE!

- Be a problem solver and look at a project objectively and with knowledge to determine a solution. We need someone who can help identify a problem and provide solutions to achieve a desired outcome. You ask all the necessary questions to understand the task fully before you start the task and are able to come up with a good solution. We get requests from clients, and you must be able to understand what they are asking for and be able to deliver a solution with minimal guidance.

- Determined and motivated to do a job well done and provide positive support to the rest of the team.

QA TESTING SKILLS REQUIRED:

All websites should be tested on ALL devices, including APPLE iOS, and Android, as well as all major browsers (I.E., Chrome, Safari, Firefox)

The website should be tested on as high as a 21 inch monitor (1920 x 1080), to a regular sized mobile device.

With everything that you will be asked to do, you will be required to look over your own work and make sure that it matches the specifications of the client’s request, and the provided design mockups TO THE Upgrade to see actual info other words, once we hand the approved designs over to you, you will be required to create the exact same designs as a functioning website that works on all devices, with no exceptions.

You must be responsible to check, and re-check your work completely before sending them to our team for review.
