Marketing Manager
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

About You:
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and personable team member with the ability to see the big picture as well as the small details, and continue to evolve our marketing tactics to further GeneDyve’s position as the industry trailblazer. As the Manager of our Marketing Department you will develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. You will create and oversee several campaigns, including digital, social media, retail, and wellness programs campaigns. You will work closely with the CEO/COO and other team leaders, as well as with other divisions within the company. You will also act as a liaison with our partners and different agencies.

Your Responsibilities:
* Oversee creation of and posting of content on social media
* Post new photos, advertisements, website/blog Content
* Manage SEO and Google AdWords activities, and overall digital marketing (SEM, Display, other) programs.
* Conduct keyword research, analysis/insights/recommendations
* You lead a team of Marketing data subject experts who manage ad hoc and automated campaign data: planning, requirement gathering, creation, validation, and timely delivery
* Provide Chief Operating Officer your Excel sheet(s) with links to all your marketing posts
* Collect Excel sheet(s) with links to all marketing posts from your Marketing Associates daily
* Create and implement creative and innovative advertising, branding and promotional and grassroots campaigns across multiple platforms.
* Build and promote the GeneDyve’s awareness, brand and reputation to develop deep local relationships with fans, local partners and key stakeholders.
* You are a “Doer” not just a “Manager”; you should have the willingness to get into the weeds and also step back and innovate
* Develop annual and seasonal marketing plans to acquire new customers and drive traffic to the site including SEO/SEM/Display/Affiliate and other programs.
* Forecast and derive insights from key metrics to inform marketing strategies related to our key digital marketing programs (e.g., SEO, SEM, display, etc.)
* Develop and manage the monthly integrated digital marketing calendar and work with partners across different functions to ensure we deliver a consistent and integrated branded experience and messaging across all platforms and mediums
* Share learnings and best practices with colleagues and cross-functional business partners (Marketing Program Execution).
* Own the analytics surrounding the online marketing programs (banner, search, email)
* Evaluate regularly effectiveness of marketing spend and optimize as needed to ensure we are maximizing ROI
* Self-sufficient and be able to operate effectively without close supervision.
* Exceptional project management skills
* Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people

Your Qualifications:
* 3+ years of consumer marketing and digital marketing experience in an e-commerce or online services company
* Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills
* Demonstrable track record of leading strategy and driving execution. This requires strong communication, organizational and project management skills
* Strongly analytical: must be able to synthesize information from various sources and draw meaningful conclusions
* Superior ability to build strong relationships of trust and unity across the organization
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confident decision maker
