JOB OVERVIEW

It is time – time to bring on an assistant to help me extend my reach and impact.

My name is Dr. Laymon Hicks, and I am a professional speaker and author. I primarily speak to youth-oriented audiences.

When I started as a speaker, I hired an assistant, and our relationship did not work out. As a result, I stayed away from hiring anyone else. However, I feel I am at the point where I would like to welcome someone else to join me on this journey. I have been doing everything myself and hiring people to do things on a task or project basis.

I want to focus my efforts on expanding my reach without worrying about if I sent follow up emails, responded to interested candidates, posted on social media, etc.

I am starting fresh with a new outlook about my approach and want a ROCKSTAR assistant who can help with this.

Should also be able to do the following proficiently;
• Manage contact lists and customer spreadsheets
• Maintain a calendar and set up meetings
• Handle correspondence
• Make travel arrangements
• Send out requested information to clients
• Handle client inquiries by phone or e-mail
• Should have experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel, plus Google Docs, CRM programs
• Able to write content
• Assist in projects that may require contacting and scheduling interviews with different online influencers.

This part-time role will only require 5-10 hours per week at first but is likely to grow in the future.
