Bookkeeping - Mid / Advanced

Provide bookkeeping services for a construction company that engages in property sales, general contracting and property Upgrade to see actual infondidate must be able to manage, reconcile and keep financial records up to date. Transactions include managing bank accounts, credit cards, auto payments. QuickBooks is our accounting software and we have started to use buildertrend for our general contracting Upgrade to see actual infondidate must be able to keep process receivables and payables – ensuring that all payments are on time and billable items are handled appropriately.

Must be able to provide weekly and monthly financial statements that enable the owner to make sound financial decisions from.

Ideal candidate will be organized and self Upgrade to see actual infondidate will be expected to be able to research and find solutions for the company. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the owner and must be comfortable asking questions.

Responsibilities

General bookkeeping responsibilities, including input into QuickBooks utilizing outside sources
Bank reconciliations
Process and/or record payroll
Post Journal Entries
Accounts Payable via Upgrade to see actual info or other system
Invoicing for client and payment status follow-up


Qualifications

Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
3+ years of bookkeeper/accounting experience
Knowledge of general accounting concepts


Skills

Strong communication and analytical skills
Able to operate spreadsheet, word processing and email and accounting software programs.
Able to recommend business and process improvements based upon your experience and knowledge
Well organized, accurate and detail oriented
