Podcast Editor

Hi there,

I have a large backlog of podcasts, which need to be edited and am looking for an editor. While this work is freelance, I'll have a lot of ongoing work for the right person.

Here is what I would need done for each podcast:

1. Clip the beginning and end and add a pre-recorded audio intro and outro.
2. In some cases, add a pre-recorded audio advertisement in the middle
3. Normalize the audio and do basic clean up (it doesn't need to be perfect, but sometimes there are "beeps" from the headphones/recording equipment that need to be cut)
4. Cut out specific parts of the audio (I'll tell you where)
5. Export as an mp3

You do not need these skills, but here are some additional skills that I would find helpful:

1. Experience writing podcast show notes and posting both the show notes and audio files to libsyn and wordpress

If you are interested, please let me know your rate (either per podcast episode or per hour) and send me a sample of your work.

If you charge per hour, please let me know roughly how long it normally takes you to edit a 30 minute and a 1 hour podcast.

If I think we might be a good match, I will send you a short audio clip to edit for me as an audition. Please note, this audition will be unpaid.
