JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an E-Commerce Operations Manager to join our Amazon E-commerce team. The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day to day operations of our Amazon business and to facilitate ongoing efforts for expansion.

We are a small start-up online business looking to add talent to our team that will help grow the business to the next level. We are seeking an individual who is motivated to grow with the company and invests his- or herself in the success of the company. This is a key position with room for growth and advancement. We are seeking a strategist who will bring their own creative thinking and high level executing to the business, someone who will be telling us what we should be doing rather than the other way around.

You will be expected to achieve sales objectives through effective management of product, technology, and fulfillment to best position the brand for exponential growth. You must be comfortable participating in high-level business strategy discussions and also effective at digging into detail and being hands-on with execution.

You will manage a team of 2-4 remote employees who will be readily accessible to help you manage and grow the company.

A candidate with experience in Amazon Seller Central (FBA) and E-commerce sales is required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, drive and implement the global e-commerce strategy
• Manage all day-to-day e-commerce operations
• Compare past and current sales trends to determine growth forecast and achieve targets
• Upload, maintain, and revise listings to increase product rankings and improve buyer experience
• Inventory planning: compare past and current sales trends to determine future inventory demand
• Conduct ongoing research to evaluate performance, trends, keyword optimization
• Use breadth of PPC/SEM/SEO knowledge to uncover new insights and propose optimizations to drive sales growth
• Effortlessly manage Amazon Seller Central platform and all aspects of the storefront
• Manage and expand the online business working closely and developing solid relationships with key partnering accounts (e.g. Walmart, wholesale accounts, etc.)
• Identify and qualify new opportunities to drive revenue growth globally
• Strategize and leverage digital content to drive increased traffic
• Analyze data, trends and key consumer behaviors and make fact-based recommendations
• Stay up-to-date on e-commerce new tools and best practices for online growth opportunities
• Optimize costs and operation to maximize efficiency
• Evaluate and advise on the use of new technologies, benchmarking trends and competitor data to stay at the forefront
• Other business related duties as necessary

Requirements:

• 2+ years Amazon Seller Central work experience
• Strong leadership skills, with capacity to manage, lead and inspire
• Excellent verbal and written skills including meeting facilitation and excellent presentation skills
• Possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to convert complex data into actionable strategy and tactics
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
• Accelerated keyboard operation speed
• Management of broad projects both independently and collaboratively
• Comfortable being both a strategist and a tactician
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fast-changing environment
• Extensive knowledge of Amazon Marketplace, Marketing Services and Fulfillment by Amazon (2 or more years of experience with Amazon Seller Central)

Experience:

• Amazon Seller Central: 2 years minimum required
