JOB OVERVIEW

If you’re a writer who meets the following 4 requirements, then this may be an offer for you:

1. Capable of doing customer-oriented research, and identifying what features customers most care about when searching for a product.

2. Able to meet reasonable deadlines.

Have a very good command of English writing and grammar. (Though I’m willing to make minor edits, I don’t want to spend a lot of time correcting spelling and grammar.)

Bonus: If you’re capable of capturing images, posting content into Wordpress and are comfortable with creating affiliate links, that’ll be good. If not, that’s fine--I care more about the quality of your writing.

Of the above 4 requirements, although requirement #1 is the most important, I’ll usually do a lot of the preliminary research. The requirements I most care about are #2 and #3...especially #3. You MUST have a solid understanding of English syntax and grammar to do this job well.

About This Project

I'm actually managing a number of sites, 2 of which are my current focus. One focuses on anti-aging, offering information on cosmetic products. The second offers information on a particular brand of weight-loss information, training, and supplementation. Over time, these sites will hopefully grow to dozens and hundreds of pages, so I’m looking for a handful of writers who want to help me revitalize and grow my sites.

A Bit About Me

I myself am a Canadian. English is my first language, and I write both fiction and non-fiction. However, the sheer amount of content required by my site is not something I want to take on myself, which is why I’m looking for writers.

What Writers Like About Working With Me

One thing that I think writers like about working with me is that since I’m a researcher and writer myself, I can use my writing ability to help you create content. I can do this by providing a detailed outline of each article that I want you to write for me.

How You’re Paid and How Much

I primarily pay via Paypal. I think I also have a Payoneer account, but I haven’t used it in a while.

As for how much you’ll be paid, depending on the offers I receive, I’m looking to start at $10 to $15 per 1000 words. Articles may range in length from 1500 to as much as 4000 words. That said, if you do feel that your skill in English writing merits a higher fee, do mention that, and if I feel that your writing sample(s) reflect that, I’ll consider offering you a higher fee (depending on the number and quality of other applicants).

If, in the future, I ask you to do more--such as more intensive research, to capture images, or to add content to my site--then you’ll be compensated accordingly.

What to do Next

Feel free to reply to this message. Do include samples of your writing as well as a biography. Perhaps tell me if you have a degree, or mention anything else that will help me to hire you.

What I’ll do Next

I’ll spend the next few days looking at applications and contacting those who I feel seem promising for this. Then, I’ll offer test assignments, for which the selected applicants will be paid. If the test assignment is done well, I’ll offer feedback and may offer another test assignment. If I feel that we can work well together, then I’ll offer you ongoing writing assignments.

If You Do Get Hired

At first, I may not have a lot of work for any single writer, that's because I wouldn't want to overwhelm anyone. At first, you may only write about two articles a month, but if you prove yourself and want to earn more, the potential is there to write more often. As such, at least in the beginning, this will be very part-time Upgrade to see actual info your email subject line, say, "Hello DK. I'd Like to Work With You."
