This is currently a home-based work. However, candidates should be within Metro Manila or nearby areas such as Calabarzon as we are setting up a physical office here in Manila soon so candidate should be open to travelling to the office (Makati or Ortigas) every once in a while for team meetings (possibly thrice a week).

We are looking for a skilled and experienced web developer to join our team. The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to the business owner’s specifications. Our web developer must be an outstanding problem-solver and should strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Web Developer Duties and Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining websites
• Setting up the back end of a site
• Working with the style and functionality or the front end
• Meeting with business owner to discuss needs and requirements for the site
• Constant communication with colleagues
• Designing in a user-friendly manner
• Writing content for the site occasionally
• Testing and updating the site as needed
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, C++ etc
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to e-commerce applications
