Job title: Junior Analyst – Investment Banking
Department: M&A and Corporate Development Department
Type of Position: Full Time, 40 hours/week; Work from home in the Philippines
Work Schedule: The Analyst may choose his or her own working hours as long as they are set on a regular schedule (i.e. Asia, US or Europe Shift)
Reports to: Senior Analyst – Investment Banking
Desired Skills
• Excellent English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge and understanding of financial statements
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing reports
Experience / Education
• Preferably graduate of Bachelor of Science with a degree in Accounting, Finance or other related courses
• At least 2 years of work experience in Accounting / Finance
• Background in project management system and other programs is an advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
• Building valuation and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transaction models
• Analyzing financial statements and operational information on client companies and input data into valuation models
• Drafting of valuation reports
• Drafting of Confidential Information Memoranda (CIM) for M&A transactions
• Conducting market research on companies and industries
• Assisting the Senior Analyst and Managing Director in documenting company processes and procedures for marketing, valuation, consulting and business development
Compensation and Benefits
• Gross Monthly Pay: PHP 22,000
• Internet Allowance: PHP 1,000 / month
• Share in government contributions: PHP 1,000 / month
• 13th Month Pay: PHP 22,000
• Performance Bonus: based on Individual and Company performance
• Annual Salary Increase: based on Individual and Company performance
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 days – first year; 10 days – 2nd year onwards
• Paid Holidays: Will be observing National Holiday in the Philippines
